Enchanted Realms Rulebook
Phylum: Hominoid
A homonoid is a creature typically of small or medium size. There are a few large-sized creatures, especially in the taurian class. These beings are not only sentient but also sapient, who gather in organized societal order. Of course, that order could be a very savage form, but the organization is almost always clear. Hominoids have language, culture and a bipedal-style vertebral column. Although most have only two legs, the term “bipedal-style” does not limit them to only two, as again the insectoid and taurian classes do violate that guideline. Another test for this phylum is whether or not the sleep axiom will influence them, as magic is restricted to only hominoids.
Class: Carnivoid
Species of the carnivoid class are some of the most atavistic species, often appearing to be a fusion of an animal and a humanoid of some sort. Specifically, the carnivoid are meat-eaters who eat very little grains or plant foods.

Zoola Hominoid Carnivoid
The yellow-eyed howls are nomadic hyena-men who live in rapacious bands of up to fifty. They may have villages for a season or to have a rally point for favorable hunting conditions. A howl male is lanky and stands a bit over seven feet tall, often weighing around 250, possibly up to 300, pounds. Howls have mastered skills which allow them to employ wood, leather or horned goods for light armor and crude melee weapons. Additionally, they have Darkvision. Howls also have a special attack called kataghut in their language. It is a special attack when disengaging with a combatant. The reason for disengaging could be strike-and-run, rendering the opponent helpless, or even using the full action to escape the positioning. This is somewhat like a reverse-charging skill, the howl strikes, then immediately gains a free movement of 15 feet.
