Festering
The festering is a variant of the zombie with a horrific connection with the realm of death. They attack on a 2d20. However, the fear from the festering is that the bite received will not heal naturally or even with medical skills such as wound care. It requires an alchemy solution or divine magic to cure. When bitten a victim must roll a difficult Resilience preservation save (DC:14+d4). Successful saves avoid the sickness that prevents natural-healing for that specific bite.
