 Over-Category: Biophage
 Kingdom: Glitch
Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Glitches are utterly alien beings. Many of them have innate magical abilities drawn from the creature's alien mind rather than the mystical forces of the world. However, they eat, sleep, and breathe.

Medusan Gorgon

This variant of the lamia is weaker is some ways but more dangerous in others. This gorgon does not have the physical toughness of its cousin, but the petrification attack makes it a dangerous foe, especially as the medusan gorgon has a diet of eating stone. When a creature that is capable of seeing the medusa's eyes starts its turn within 30 feet, then the gorgon is permitted an immediate reaction to begin the petrification effect, assuming the gorgon is not incapacitated and is able to see the victim. It is important to note the effect is outward from the monster seeing the eyes of the victim rather than dependent on the victim seeing her directly; therefore, averting one's gaze may not work but wearing a physical barrier like a blindfold would. However, the Resilience save against a medusan gorgon uses a DC:15 instead of the normal save difficulty. Further, this horror is a master with the long bow to attack those engaging from range. To be clear, unlike myths, the decapitated head of such a creature no longer retains its petrifying powers.
