Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Glitches are utterly alien beings. Many of them have innate magical abilities drawn from the creature's alien mind rather than the mystical forces of the world. However, they eat, sleep, and breathe.

Brain Snail 

The brain snail seeks out intelligent life, often doing the bidding of their nyarlath masters. These creatures are small and weigh less than 5 pounds, about the size of a turtle, but looking like a large snail with a brain-like hump for a shell. Physically, they have little recourse; however, they often stun lone opponents through a psychic attack. As its action, the devourer will force its victim to make a Judgment save (DC:15) or suffer d6 points of mind damage, so long as the victim is within 10 feet. This will wake a sleeping victim. However, if reducing the victim to 0 points, the creature can phase into the head of the helpless or dead victim. This action requires one action and is not fully complete until the end of the devourer's next turn. This body-snatching action kills the victim and destroys its brain. After which, a brain snail can animate the body for up to one month as if it were the victim’s original brain. The merged entity retains its host body points. It assumes the physical qualities and ability scores of the victim. As long as the brain snail occupies the body, it knows the languages spoken by the victim and very basic information about the victim’s identity and personality, but none of the victim’s specific memories or knowledge. Furthers, no skills which cost over 250 karma are accessible to the imposter. After a month, the parasite must phase out of the body. However, the brain snail can remove itself at anytime. Nonetheless, when the brain snail does exit the victim's body, it is not undetectable as when invading it but rather with an explosive and gruesome force that cracks open the skull to expose a missing brain.
