Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain. Fey are magical creatures closely tied to the forces of nature. They dwell in twilight groves and misty forests. Fey include dryads, pixies, and satyrs. All fey eat, sleep, and breathe.

Ondine 

An ondine is a water spirit of fey origin who forms a special rapport with anyone she takes as a lover. However, her curse is somewhat dangerous to herself as well, causing her to be very selective with whom she chooses to mate. Until she takes a lover, she can hide her original form of a watery being and take on the shape of any humanish or atavistoid woman. However, until she finds her lover, she is restricted to a ten mile radius of her birth. Additionally, she can speak and understand any language. When consummating a relationship, the ondine loses her ability to shapechange there is a mythical rapport that is created between them which allows her to intuitively know if he is faithful. If her lover is unfaithful, the curse manifests on both sides. The ondine will confront the lover, at which time the cheater will lose up to 700 points worth of combat skills which will transfer as efficiently as possible to the ondine, who will use them to try to slay the unfaithful. The only way the lover can regain those skills is to kill the ondine. If she kills her victim, then she will keep those skills but will lose her form, reverting back to a semi-liquid spirit and be confined to watery areas.
The types of encounters with an ondine are before she finds a lover and is trying to live a life outside of her restricted zone. The other extreme is where she returns to her watery confine as a scorned and angry being, full of hate towards the race of her former lover. The final option is discovering an ondine still living with her lover. In this circumstance, one might not even be aware she is not of the portrayed race. However, if she becomes pregnant, she must deliver the child in a body of water. That child will be a new ondine with all the restrictions and confinements. That young ondine will mature to “adulthood” within only a year. The full life-cycly of an online, regardless of her fate, is around 100 years.
