 Kingdom: Mutant
Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Mutants are monsters in the strictest sense frightening creatures that are not ordinary, not truly natural, and almost never benign. Some are the results of magical experimentation gone awry, and others are the product-of terrible curses. Unless stated otherwise, mutant beasts eat, sleep, and breathe.

Colossal Soar Slug

An unusual and uncommon creature of questionable origin is the colossal soar slug, an enormous version of the garden slug with some sort of innate magical flight which is faster than most expect. Further, it never really crawls on the ground but rather flies only inches from the ground, meaning the slug is not subject to difficult terrain penalties. But its specialties do not end with flight.

First, its size is of the colossal size category. When measured from head to tip, it spans around 35 to 40 feet in length; however, the back half of its tail often hangs down from the influences of gravity. This grants the slug a unique weapon of reach that can bludgeon with devastating power, as it flies overhead about 20 feet in the air while striking with the huge dragging cosh. This does permit normal flee-attack reactions; however, once 10 Body points have been inflicted against the tail, no more will count towards the soar slug's life force. Points beyond that point are still tallied but separately. If the total of 40 Body points are inflicted against the tail, it is severed or otherwise damaged so badly that it can no longer be used for attacking.

The monster has another attack method as well, which can be employed during the same turn of its tail-bludgeon attack; however, its tongue strike is rarely used unless the fight is aerial or some other reason to engage directly with combatants. When it is used, its acts like a slicer, delivering edged damage but additionally coats the victim with acid on a successful attack. Further, the reach of this melee attack is 10 feet.

The gigantic mollusk-creature has a special sense known as blindsight, allowing it to "see" in all directions in all three dimensions up to 90 feet with only physical barriers (even invisible ones, such as a wall of force) foiling it. Actual light or spectrum of light will not alter its special sensation. As such, deafness and blindness are ineffective on this creature.

The behemoth is quite malleable, however, able to squeeze through spaces passable only to huge-sized beings or smaller. This still prevents it from entering many places but also catches some prey by surprise. As for weaknesses, this monster does have a few, but most of those are confined to its vulnerabilities to fire and acids. For this specific creature, salt acts like a corrosive. A handful of salt will inflict d2(x2) points of damage.

Lastly, the colossal soar slug is amphibious able to breath both air and underwater, which it often lives near. It may also use a river or swamp environment to offset the effects or fire or salt. If half of its body is submerged in water, then the vulnerability to fire and and corrosives return to normal damage delivery.
