Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Atavistoids are similar to anthropoids, having common ancestry somewhere back the line; however, these races have monstrous or animalistic features. Additionally, they may have magical abilities.

Frogmen (Ichthyoid)

Frogmen are an amphibious race who live in the jungles and subjugate other humanoids, forcing them into labor or delivering them to enigmatic gods. They eat giant ants and venomous aquatic life to generate poisonous secretions from their skin and in their saliva. The frogmen use this poison to coat their weapons both for hunting and war; however, when applied this way the DC is only 12. Knifing through the water in their outrigger canoes, the frogmen attack ships that blunder into their coastal waters with great ferocity. The cargo is often left aboard if they have no immediate use for it; the ships’ crews are their main targets, sacrificed to appease their temperamental gods. Their priesthoods work together closely under the frogmen priest-kings. These priest-kings speak with the authority of the gods, and the frogmen never waver in their obedience, even to the point of self-sacrifice.

If coming in skin-to-skin contact with a frogman, such as by grappling, then the other party must roll a resilience save (DC:16) or suffer the effects of the poison restriction. This is also true if a frogman bites a victim rather than attacking with weapons. Frogmen often use ropes to tie the victims up, similar to applying shackles during combat; however, spears and stone clubs are also used during an attack.
