Drake, Guard

The lineage of the drake goes back to a pairing between a dragon and a monitor lizard. The land drakes were the original breed; however, a specialized race was bred centuries ago to act as guardians.

Drakes have thick natural armor, which can be skinned as heavy hide. Moreover, they have darkvision out to 60 feet. Land drakes also employ a special partner ploy specific to other guard drakes. However, instead of being resistant to poison, this species is resistant to lightning. Guard drakes has a tail sweep attack (which is not a multi-attack), which may not a medium or smaller sized creature off its feet.
