Crag Giant

Crag giants, standing 12-feet tall, have combat and hurling stones with an effective skill of 2d10 in either case. These large bipeds are not very smart and have few skills beyond hunting and cooking. However, this species has better hearing and sense of smell than the typical human or dwarf; thus, when those are a factor to a Perception check, then crag giants gain +2 on their rolls; this also means they are more likely to detect an invisible creature. Crag giants typically stay holed up in shallow dens of hilly and rocky terrains. There might be a whole family, but most often they live a solitary existence. Crag giants may have one or two dinohyus (dire boar) as pets.
