Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain. Plant Life in this context are vegetable creatures, not ordinary flora. Most of them are ambulatory, and some are carnivorous. The most well-known plants are the shambling mound and the treant. Fungal creatures such as the gas spore also fall into this category. Plants have immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, polymorph, and stunning. Further, they cannot be charmed or affected by phantasms; however, glamours may still fool them. Plants breathe and eat, but do not sleep.

Dagger Fern 

A dagger fern can fire a cluster of sharp thorns at a single target within 20 feet as a standard action. It typically gets the first action due to surprise, but a Perception roll can be given (DC:18). If a character has herbology or plant lore, the roll gains +2. Up to a dozen may appear in a field together.
