 Over-Category: Biophage
 Kingdom: Giantkin
Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Giantkin tower over humans and their kind. They are humanlike in shape, though some have multiple heads or deformities. There is a subtype called true giant, but other creatures such as ogres and trolls are also giantkin.

Grýla (Horgus)

The grýla are a very bad and grim giantkin, who all have a female appearance, standing nearly 10 feet tall. However, they have two distinct genders despite their appearance, but only the females are aggressive. The males are relatively lazy and lethargic. Further, the females of the grýla eat children, preferring poorly behaved ones, making this monster the antagonist in many a children's fairy tale. She waits in hiding to pick them up, puts them in her sack and then cooks them in her cauldron back at her den. Because of her voracious appetite, if encountered while kidnapping a child, it may be possible to offer her food in exchange for the child. If forced into combat, a grýla will attack with her fists.
