 Over-Category: Biophage
 Kingdom: Mutant
Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Mutants are monsters in the strictest sense frightening creatures that are not ordinary, not truly natural, and almost never benign. Some are the results of magical experimentation gone awry, and others are the product-of terrible curses. Unless stated otherwise, mutant beasts eat, sleep, and breathe.

Hesperian Gorgon

The beast appears like a large bull with iron-hide for skin. It has a dangerous charge, requiring a 20-ft run, where not only does it deliver a goring attack for 2d20 but also targets of medium-size or smaller must succeed a Strength save (DC:18) or be thrown 5 feet and knocked prone. However, worst of all is the creature's petrifying breath attack. It breaths a cloud of magical gas in a ten-foot cone (3 hexes). Those in the area must save or be petrified (see rules for petrification). This deadly effect can be reused again 2d4 rounds later.
