For all practical purposes, Ideophages do not eat at all; they do no grow or sustain from a known energy. Constructs, while not the only Ideophages, are the clearest example. A golem constucted of stone will exist until the stone erodes or is significantly damaged in some way.
A cosmic being is at least partially composed of the essence (but not necessarily the material) of some plane other than the Material Plane. Some creatures start out as some other type and become outsiders when they attain a higher (or lower) state of spiritual existence. All cosmic beings breathe but do not sleep or eat unless stated otherwise. Lastly, all cosmic beings have 60-feet of darkvision.

Rakshasa 

The true form of a rakshasa is almost never seen due to their ability to assume almost any humanoid figure, but their lavish taste ensures they nearly always wear the finest garments and most precious jewelry. Their true forms are most commonly humanoids with the heads of Bengal tigers and luxurious fur to match their attire, although it is not unusual for them to possess the heads and features of carnivorous apes, crocodiles or mantises with powerful rakshasa being rumored to have multiple heads. They combine the habits of a predatory aristocrat with those of an indolent cat, savoring the finest art, music, literature, clothing, weapons and armor while spending large amounts of time lazily resting in their comforts and prowling unseen. Slaves are often collected as if a form of art. Of course the captured are expected to indulge every whim of their cruel master. Rakshasa attack with their claws when necessary, but often try to use innate magic and illusions to confuse and deceive opponents. Other magical abilities include creating glamours with sound and audible components, detect magic, detect thoughts, fly and veil. Rakshasa are resistant to blunt and edged damage, even magical ones.
