 Over-Category: Biophage
 Kingdom: Mutant
Beings that are biophages are those who eat and survive by the consumption of other living and materials or various nutrients that reside in the earth or native terrain.
Mutants are monsters in the strictest sense frightening creatures that are not ordinary, not truly natural, and almost never benign. Some are the results of magical experimentation gone awry, and others are the product-of terrible curses. Unless stated otherwise, mutant beasts eat, sleep, and breathe.

Alpheidigium

Alpheidigium are large lobster-like beasts with a hatred for surface-dwelling humanoids. The many tentacles that surrounded their mouths are capable of causing paralysis with a single touch, thus leaving their unfortunate victim at the mercy of the alpheidigium’s powerful claws. Amphibious by nature, alpheidigiums are actually not great swimmers, preferring to engage in combat either on land, where they could survive indefinitely, or very shallow water. An alpheidigium often wait by a shoreline, while submerged or partially submerged in murky water, until it hears a suitable prey. When striking with the tentacles, a successful strike may cause paralysis. Slowing movement by 20 points occurs upon a successful strike by the tentacle attack with the failing a Resilience save failure.
